An Afternoon at the Beach

We went to the beach this last Saturday and enjoyed a beautifully warm afternoon! Violet and Jack loved playing in the sand and splashing in the waves and just being outside!

Roller Skating

I took Violet and Jack to the roller skating rink yesterday for a birthday party of one of my students. Although neither Jack or Violet had skated, they did an excellent job staying upright and really enjoyed making their way around the rink several times. We made sure that the wheels were completely locked for both of them, basically like really heavy shoes! We had SO much fun!

Getting ready to head out onto the the rink,

our party had the whole place to ourselves, which was nice to not have to dodge a bunch of people and I could walk with the kids,
