Ultrasound Pictures!

We had a doctors appointment this last week for our 21 week ultrasound! The doctor said that all the baby's measurements look great and the baby looks healthy! Here's a few of the pictures:

A Day Trip to San Francisco!

Mission Springs had their staff Christmas party yesterday with a great day in San Francisco! We rode the BART into the city, had lunch all together and watched "A Christmas Carol" on an IMAX screen. After the movie we had some free time to roam around the city. We enjoyed a walk through Chinatown and ate dinner at one of our favorite local places, Sam Wo's. It was great to spend the day with the staff and their spouses and we had two wonderful sitters who watched Violet all day, thank you Carly and Shannon!

Christmas Tree Hunt!

Yesterday was our annual trip to the Johnson Tree farm with Matt and Monica and this year my parents came with too since they were in town! The weather was great and Violet loved being able to explore and walk on her own! We found our trees first (we picked a 9 1/2 foot tree named "Boo-Boo Bear") and then enjoyed a picnic lunch and were able to get home before nap time!

19 Weeks!

We're almost to the half-way point! We had an appointment today and everything looks great! We'll have our ultrasound appointment in about a week and a half, we still are NOT finding out the gender! If you haven't voted on what you think we're having take the poll on our blog!

Thanksgiving 2009

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year celebrating with family from Illinois, Oregon, Colorado, and North Carolina! We hosted here at our house and had a grand total of 20 people on Thanksgiving day! Brian did a great job with the turkey, he had it BBQ-ing all afternoon on the grill, yum! We also were able to celebrate Grandma McCutchen's 90th birthday with a luau theme, we all went to the beach one day, had beautiful weather for taking hikes, and had fun playing games and roasting marshmallows on the back deck. Thanks for the great time McCutchen clan!

First Family Friday Night Game Night!

We had our first Family Friday Night Game Night last night and it was so fun! Violet really enjoyed the game we played and was actually asking to play it first thing this morning when she woke up! We played one round of "Brown Bear, Panda Bear What do You See?" It's an Eric Carle animal matching game, it was a big hit (thanks Laura)!! The only thing missing was a yummy snack, maybe next week!
