Signs of Spring??!!

We have had some beautiful weather here lately! We went on a walk late yesterday afternoon and Brian was able to capture some great pictures!

Open Gym!

This morning after bible study Violet and I went out for a lunch date together and had soup and sandwiches at Erik's Deli. Afterwards, we went to a local gymnastics center that has an hour of open gym time that the kids can run, jump, and play on anything in the facility. Violet was a little unsure about some of the elements at first but quickly warmed up. Her favorite was a long trampoline that you could run or bounce on and end up on some big soft mats at the end. I could hardly get a picture of her holding still on that one! We met our friends Michelle and Olivia there and had so much fun together!

BRRRR!

We had no power here at Mission Springs from Wednesday to Friday due to a huge storm that knocked down a power line! We spent two nights at my sisters house because it was too cold to stay here. I took a picture of Violet after a nap one day all bundled up in our house that was 42 degrees, brrrr! Too Cute!

Anniversary Get Away!

Brian and I were able to get away Friday night to celebrate our anniversary. We went to a local place called Costanoa Resort and Spa. It was located only about 20 miles north of Santa Cruz, which was nice not to have to drive very far! We had an all inclusive package which included a night in one of their lodge rooms with a king size bed (yeah), dinner at their on sight restaurant, and two 50 minute massages! It was so fun and relaxing to get away for a night and Violet enjoyed her overnight with Nana and Poppa who came to our house for the weekend!

A Little Get Together with Friends!

I was privileged enough to spend last weekend with some of my closest friends from when I was growing up. We had a great evening spent at Katie's parents house talking about past memories, stories, and we even watched a musical from about 1991, wow! We talked and laughed and played the Wii Fitness into the wee hours of the night! On Saturday we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast made by Katie and did some fun shopping in the morning! What a wonderful time spent together! I was having so much fun I hardly took any pictures!

25 Weeks

We had our 25 week appointment today and everything was great, we were in and out of the office in less than 20 minutes, I love doctors' visits like that!! Here's my most recent belly shot:

Girls Weekend!

I was able to spend Friday through Sunday with some of my closet girlfriends on our second annual trip to Kopjekia (that's Bethany's parents house that we stay at)! There were 8 of us that got to spend some quality time together relaxing, talking, shopping, eating out, watching a movie, making a craft, hanging out in the hot tub and enjoying eachothers company while all of our wonderful husbands so graciously spent the weekend home with all of our little ones! We all felt renewed and re-energized after having our "mommy time" together! We're already looking forward to next year, yeah!

This is our whole group, minus one, on a beautiful hike. Three of us are expecting, soon we'll have three new little ones to join in the fun of play dates!
